Without insurance, no refund will be given.

Only persons who have bought an insurance at the time of purchase of the skipass are entitled, under the conditions of the insurance in question, to any reimbursement whatsoever. Reimbursements are made directly by the insurance company.

SKIPASS ASSUR - CHF 69.-/ year
SUMMER ASSUR - CHF 3.-/day or CHF 14.-/summer season

Refunds - Max. CHF 2'000.-

- Pro rata temporis reimbursement of the pass, (ski) lessons and rented sports equipment for losses incurred in the event of an inability to ski for one of the following reasons:

  • Serious illness, accident or death of the insured 
  • Serious illness, accident or death of a relative of the insured person (coverage not applicable for seasonal or annual subscriptions).
  • If less than 5 slopes in the ski area are accessible due to bad weather conditions (guarantee not applicable for seasonal or annual subscriptions).


SNOW ASSIST - CHF 5.-/day or CHF 94.-/winter season
SNOW ASSIST - CHF 104.-/year
SUMMER ASSUR - CHF 5.-/day pr CHF 22.-/summer season

Search and rescue costs // CHF 350.00

Provided they have been carried out by the rescue organisation of the ski resort.

Emergency medical expenses - Ambulance and/or helicopter transportation expenses - Medical repatriation // Actual expenses, Max. CHF 10'000 - cumulative / season

  • Reimbursement of emergency medical expenses in Switzerland in the event of an accident and only if they are not covered by basic or private health or accident insurance.
  • Coverage of the insured's first transport costs from the accident site to the nearest medical centre. Coverage of the cost of helicopter flights to a hospital in Switzerland.
  • Coverage of the insured's medical repatriation costs to his or her usual place of residence, provided that the beneficiary has sought emergency medical care.
  • Provision of a driver // CHF 2'500.

Provision of a replacement driver to bring the vehicle and the insured person back to their usual place of residence.

I would like to offer a day ticket or a voucher as a gift. What are the possibilities?

To make a gift, there are 2 possibilities:

Voucher
It is a voucher with a choice of value (e.g. CHF 50.-) - The voucher is valid for 2 years from the date of issue. The voucher must be exchanged at the cash desk in order to get a ski pass. If the purchase value is less than the value of the gift voucher, the difference will not be reimbursed, either in cash or in the form of a gift voucher.

Ticket without date
The desired pass is directly charged to a hands-free card. The card is only valid during the current season. The card is validated on the first visit to a terminal.

 

Family or tribal rate?

Tribal rate: validity from 4 days
Prices at -10% from 4 people buying tickets of the same duration, with a single payment.

To benefit from the family rate​:
Approximately -10% Minimum; 4 paying persons (father, mother, single children up to 19 years old). All ski passes must be purchased simultaneously and for the same duration. The domain may be different. The presentation of an identity document for each person is mandatory.

Tribal rate: validity from 4 days
Prices at -10% from 4 people buying ski passes of the same duration, with a single payment.

Are there group reductions ?

The following reductions are attributed:

To benefit from the group rate, the packages must be purchased simultaneously, for the same duration and be the subject of a single payment. The group rate is only available at the ticket office. An order in advanceis recommended.

The group rate is valid for packages from ½ to 8 days. It cannot be combined with the family rate. The domain may be different. 

Group of 13 to 49 people: ~10% discount
Group of 50 to 99 people: ~ 15% discount
Group from 100 people: ~ 20% discount

The group rate is valid for passes 1/2 to 13 days. It cannot be combined with the family rate.

Group from 8 to 20 persons: ~ 10 % discount.
Group of 21 people and more: ~ 15% discount

What is a "Hands Free" card ?

The "Hands Free" lift pass is a smart media card, of credit card size with a high-performance chip, it gives you access to the ski lifts with greater comfort and speed thanks to the chip which can be read remotely.

3 advantages:

  • Practical: no risk of loss or damage because this card remains in your pocket (do not place it with your mobile phone, a pocket ashtray, another "hands-free" holder, your keys, your bank card and any metal object).
  • Ecological: it can be used season after season.
  • Economical: you can top up your skipass online without having to pass at the ticket office, saving you valuable time. And you accumulate suns that will allow you to benefit from a free day.

Where are the counters located and what are the hours?

The timetable is subject to the opening of the lifts

Grand-Paradis*: winter 08:30 - 14:30 / summer closed

Les Crosets
Main counter*: winter 08:00 - 17:00 / summer according to lift schedule

Bottom Foilleuse: winter 08:00 - 16:45 / summer closed

Tickets ordered online can be collected at one of the above ticket offices.

What do I need to buy a season pass online?

A new card at a price of CHF 4.00 is required for the purchase of a ski pass unless you already have a card with a WTP number. In this case and only in this case, you can use this card to top up the 2020-2021 season pass.

ATTENTION!

In case the card is already registered in another account than yours (e.g. if someone else ordered the season pass for you last year), you have to delete the card in this account first in order to register it in your account.
If you do not have the possibility to delete this card, choose the option NO to "Do you already have a chip card".

The fields to be completed are:

> NAME
> DATE OF BIRTH
> Photo (extensions accepted: "png", "jpg", "jpeg")

By default, you are assigned a new card.

How do I know my WTP number?

The number is printed on the front of your hands-free card : XXXXXXXX-XXX-XXX

Attention :

  • There are no spaces in my hands-free card number
  • The dashes must be entered
  • There cannot be an O letter in my hands-free card number, but only the number 0
  • If my pass has 2 numbers above each other, you must enter the first one (the one that is not in the white box)
  • Do not enter WTP

How do I pay my order ?

The means of payment accepted are as follows:

Credit card (Visa - Mastercard), PostFinance, Maestro, Twint, Reka-Card
Cash: CHF - Euros (Payments in Euros are to be made in banknotes, coins are not accepted. Change is given in CHF. Exchange rate fixed by PDS-CH, variable according to the rate of the Euro).

EXCHNGE RATE

All passes are sold in CHF. The exchange rate applied at the cash desk for cash payments in Euro is updated regularly to keep up with market fluctuations.

The exchange rate applied at the terminals for credit card payments or when buying online are determined by the payment terminal companies. PDS-ch has no control over these rates; it is the sole responsibility of the customer to check the conformity of the rates applied in case of payment in foreign currency. PDS-ch is in no way responsible for an unfavourable exchange rate.

Age categories?

For season tickets, the determining age is that of the person on January 1st of the current season.
For other tickets, the determining age is that of the user on the first day of validity of the ticket.

Adult: basic rate 26 - 64
Child: from 5 - 15
Youth: from 16 - 25
Senior: from 65 - 74
Super Senior: from 75

Children under 5 the ski pass is compulsory but free and is available on presentation of an ID card or the ski lesson receipt

To obtain a discount, you have to present a proof (remember to keep copies in your smartphone). Discounts are not cumulative under any circumstances.

Refund

PARTIALLY USED OR UNUSED TICKETS

Partially used or unused tickets, whether or not caused by the user, are under no circumstances reimbursed by PDS-ch.

CLOSING / SHUTTING DOWN OF INSTALLATIONS

If the lifts are entirely or partially suspended due to bad weather (e.g. storm) or a case of force majeure, the customer is not entitled to any refund.

INSURANCES

Only those persons who have taken out an insurance policy offered at the time of purchase of the package are entitled, under the conditions of the insurance in question, to any reimbursement whatsoever. Requests for reimbursement should be addressed directly to the insurance company.

The purchase of insurance is linked to the purchase of the ticket.
The insurance is taken out for the same duration as the ticket.
Rates are available online at www.pds-ch.ch and at the ticket office.
The insurance is not refundable under any circumstances.
